IDROMAG® ERB is a Magnesium Hydroxide according to the "Characters" of European Pharmacopoeia 5th Ed. 2005:

“It is a white, fine, amorphous powder,practically insoluble in water. It dissolves indilute acids”.

Special characteristics are the very high brightness and purity.

IDROMAG® ERB is an extra heavy magnesium hydroxide with a typical value of apparent volume of 17ml/15g (about 880 g/l).

Thanks to its density, it allows different compounding possibilities for tablet and powder dosage systems.

It is used:

• as antacid and alkaline buffer in pharmaceutical application

• as laxative in pharmaceutical application

• as absorbent and pH adjuster in cosmetic

• as a nutrient supplement, pH control agent and processing aid in food processing

IDROMAG® ERB is produced in Angera (Italy).

The standard packaging offered for IDROMAG® ERB is:

• 25 kg paper-bags on 1000 kg pallet (950x1150 mm)

• other possible packaging types on request
